The adventures of Jonathan's drive home from work...

While Jonathan drives to and from work everyday, he usually sees a few minor accidents along the way. Well, the past two days, he has seen only major ones. These are pictures he took yesterday while on I-15, sitting in dead lock traffic for long time. The day before he watched a motorcyclist crash, wearing only a t-shirt and jeans... no helmet! He said that he saw his head hit the ground really hard. YUCK!! I am always so nervous when he is on the road, praying this never happens to him. Luckily, he has a job now where he can work from home, and only has to go down on to SLC on monday's.

For those of you not in Utah, and didn't get to see this on the news... this was a huge semi, that was merging from I2-15 to I-15, and he rolled. This was the underground tank he was hauling, and it fell to the pavement hard. Traffic was down to 1 lane at 3:30, while he was on his way home, and by 10:00, they had only been able to open it to 2 lanes. Yucky, huh!! I am glad that there was no one next to him, that tank could have smashed a car to pieces.

This is what he saw as he was stopped in Sardine Canyon in Cache Valley. It was going south, and Jonathan said the traffic was backed up almost to the mouth of the canyon. The trailor was smashed, and there was stuff all over the road! Is it just me or does he see one too many accidents in his 4 hours in the car everyday! Luckily, no one was injured badly in these accidents, those are always hard to drive by!

One side note to those who make fun of me for not liking to drive next to semi's: See the above pictures and figure it out for yourself!!

The boys...

Jeremy, Jason, and Joseph rockin their Police shirts!

Jonathan took the boys to see The Police in concert on Saturday! He got them all a shirt, and we made them all wear them on Sunday for a picture. This is the first picture that I have of the three of them together in a long time!! They were arguing about how they all used to look in their pics in the past... who was always in the middle and so on. Jason is quite smitten with this picture of him... he has become a teenager and has to make sure that he looks ok, before I can do anything with it. He was trying to copy this pose again all night!

This was Jason's first concert, and what a first concert for it to be... THE POLICE!!! He had such a great time, and was gitty! He called us the night before making sure that they were still going, and making sure he was going to be ready for when Jonathan came to get them! There was an oddity that night... Joseph got to sit up front both ways! Usually they fight over who gets to sit in the front, and Jonathan said that they didn't even talk about it, it just happend. I think they had a great time, and Jonathan was glad that he took them. They sat on the lawn, but they got the second row of lawn seats, and could see really well. The people in front of them, let Jason in a few times so he could see even better.

I thought I needed to have a post about our boys, since I most always post about the girls! It is very rare to get a pic of them together, and this one is a keeper!

Cousin's Night!!!

My cousins and sister's and I are always saying whenever we see eachother at family gatherings, that we need to get together without parents. Well, we never get around to it! Jonathan took the boys to the Police concert last night and so it was just my girls and I at the house. I took that as an opportunity to have a cousin night.

We are all really busy, so not all of us could be there... but it was great anyhow! It ended up being my great sister Kristy and her 4 kids, and my cute cousin Jana and her two kidlets. Of course I was there, since it was at my house!! It was fun! We ate, watched 27 Dresses, talked, played games (and learned that Rack-o takes a really long time!) and just caught up on our lives. We had lots of laughs and the kids had a blast. They were all laughing so hard we could hear them from upstairs. The little girls played dress-up, and the bigger kids played game cube. They all went out to the playground and hung out! Everyone was sad when the fun had to end at 10:30, when Jana and her fam left. Kristy's family stayed the night and we were up until 1 in the morning.

I was supposed to take photo's to post on here, but honestly we were having so much fun just chatting that I didn't end up taking any. Next time, someone is going to be assigned to be the photographer. We needed Tori there, to capture the moments that were precious!!

We were all three so glad that we had this night, it was nice catching up and remembering the old times and looking forward to the new times!! Thanks again to Jana, for bringing your cute kids all the way up to stinky Logan, I loved having you here!! Thanks to Kristy and her kidlets for coming and playing games with us, and having a slumber party!! I loved every minute of it and will remember it forever!! We will definatly have to do this again, soon!! I hope more of us cousins can be there! When we were little, we all used to be so close and HAD to see eachother as much as we could, and now that we have families of our own, it takes a lot to get us together!! It is well worth the effort! I love you guys to pieces!!! Until next time...

I've been Hanah Montanaized...

So, I didn't think this would happen until my girls were a little older. However... after watching this show on Disney Channel two times, they were hooked!! They LOVE her and everytime they see anything that has anything to do with her, they scream..."Hannah Montana!!" So, you can understand why I don't like to go to the clothing section of Wal-Mart, seeing that she has a line of clothes there. Beene wants a HM backpack for school, and lots of shirts. Julles just wants to sing like her all the time.

Jonathan bought the girls a HM movie and I have seen it more times in the last week than I have ever watched any movie we own. They both dance with her and sing with her as the credits role in the begining.

I have caught myself singing aloud the past week "The best of both worlds" as I have been cleaning. I knew that Disney was going to be huge at our house, I just had no idea it would be shows like this!! I love that they love it, and even though the songs are a little too catchy... I like it too!!!

Had to share...

I had to share this recipe and this site!! I found this looking for a treat for my visiting teaching ladies. This is a blog made by a lady who has fabulous ideas and I could look at her site for hours on end. This is from bakerella. She ahs got the most amazing things that I plan on trying. But, this is in the oven as we speak and it smells divine!

This is the post from her site. Check it out, it is now one of my favorites... and on my blog stalk list!
Got milk? I hope so…
…because you'll want some with this one.See what happens when I crave chocolate. I've been waiting to make this cake after seeing the recipe in a magazine. It's based on a mix, and has buttermilk and peanut butter cups added to it. The frosting is made from dark chocolate, peanut butter and heavy cream. What more could you ask for?…maybe that tall glass of milk. While you contemplate, here's the same Peanut Butter Cup Cake recipe online. And here's what I did different:• Baked it in two 6" cake pans instead of the recommended 9"• Made 6 cupcakes with the leftover batter.• Used twice as many peanut butter cups. I went a little crazy with the extra and used them on top of the cake.• Also, I didn't let it set for an hour in the fridge like recommended. I couldn't wait that long.As a side note, I found the dark chocolate in the grocery store. It was the new Starbucks brand that's been advertised lately on TV.And if you find that double chocolate and peanut butter just isn't enough, try it heated a little and served with vanilla ice cream. I did, and it fixed my craving… for now anyway.

Safety tips from Julles Johnson!!

So, since Julles has been potty trained, she has to go ALOT!! She was in the tub the other day and told me, "Mom, move... I have to go potty!" So, I moved and she sat down. I was blow drying my hair, when out of the corner of my eye, in what seemed to go in slow motion... I see Julles slide sideways off the potty and she did what looked like a flip and landed on her back in between the potty and the cabinets. I tried to get to her before she landed, but didn't make it in time. It didn't look very comfortable. She started balling and gave me a really wet hug and then got back in the tub. I didn't notice anything wrong with her when I put her in, but this is what she had on her when I dried her off to get her dressed...

OUCH!!!
She landed on the cord to my flat iron!!

Safety tip from Julles: When you are in the tub, and have to go potty... dry off your bum so that you don't slip off and do acrobatics! You'll thank me for this later!!!

Potty Trainers are we!!

So, I just wanted to tell you all that I now only have kids in diapers at night time!!! WAHOO!!! I never thought this day would come! I was hoping to have Julles potty trained by August 25th, since that is the first day of school! She decided last week to do it all on her own!!

I feel like having a potty trainers party! I am sooo happy!!! We call it potty trainers, because that is what Beene and Julles say everytime they go potty in the toilet, they say... "Mommy, I am a potty trainer... are you proud of myself??" I of course tell them, "yes I am sooo proud of you!" Then they give me a hug and tell me I am the best mom!! What a great trade off we have!

That is my exciting news for the day!!

Video's from our weekend!!

These are some video's that we took this weekend at the concert!! Some of them didn't turn out very well, so I am not adding them... but some were ok! You have to remember that these were taken with a cell phone!

This lady came walking down our row, so we moved back so she could pass us. We thought she was just trying to get out. However, she stopped and started talking to the lady next to Jonathan and asked if she could stand there. We thought they knew eachother... well, turns out no one knew who she was, she was probably from the lawn seats, and wanted a better view. She stood by us for a really long time. She was a LITTLE bit drunk, and kept telling us we needed to make out! She was a WACK-O!! Finally, she left and got kicked out of our section by the security guys.

Cheap Trick did a great job!! This was their first gig in Utah! For Jonathan, he had seen them back in the 90's, and he said that they weren't as good as before. But for me, I hadn't ever seen them, so I couldn't compare them to any other time. I thought they were great!

Concert Part 2...

The headlining band was Journey! They were awesome! The new front man is a great entertainer, and really got in with the crowd! Here are some pictures of the Journey spot!

Me and my sweety, waiting for the band to come on!! It was timed just right, the set up was still sunny, then the concert it was dark, and super fun!

We were all standing up and singing at the top of our lungs!! It was REALLY loud and amazing!

Niel Schon, the lead guitarist, has to do a solo in every song, it gets kinda old, but this is him in one of his shining moments!

So, after they sang their hearts out, they left the stage... we all screamed and yelled until we were horse! They came back out and sang "Faithfully". We were singing and all of the sudden I felt something hit me in the arm! I looked down, and found this guitar pick on the ground! I gave it to Jonathan since he brought me to this fabulous place!

This is kinda blurry, but still... its a Journey guitar pick! On one side, it has the Journey symbol on it, and then you flip it over...

Again... kinda blurry! But, it is signed by Niel Schon! But, cool just the same!!

It was funny because during this final song, I looked around are there was an older couple in back of us making out, and then in front of us there was a couple making out, and then there were just those drunkards that were just wack-o!!! It was very fun and I'll never forget it!!!

Concert Part 1!!

Me at Outback!

We had dinner at The Outback, since that is where we had our first date. We had to start the night off with some yummy food so that we didn't have to pay an arm and a leg to get food at the concert! These are my new shades that my sweety got for me! I am lovin them!

The concert was probably the best concert I have EVER been to! It was a fabulous mix of bands that all were amazing in my book! Here are some pics that Jonathan took with his phone.

Cheap Trick!! They were on first! They sang two of my favorite songs of thiers... I want you to want me, and The Flame!! The guitarist (the guy in black) has the coolest guitar collection ever!!! He was throwing tons of guitar picks, but he only threw them to the side sections... we were in the middle!

Heart was next... They were AMAZING!!! Anne (the one in black and silver) sounds live, just the same as on the cd's. Nancy (the one with the blue guitar) is still as gorgeous as ever, and kicks some major booty in the guitar playing area!!! The other guitarist... (the guy) also tours with Stevie Nicks! Jonathan liked these ladies the best of the three, he'd never seen them before and LOVED them. Something I never knew... They are sisters!! I never put two and two together!

Memory Lane...

The tag that gets everyone involved. I got this from my friend Jessica's blog. I thought it would be fun! I hope you will play along. Here are the directions:

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

While Mom and Dad are away...

The kids will play, play, play!! While we were gone, the girls stayed at my sister, Stacey's home. Stace had a great time planned for out littles. My sweet, sweet sister's took them swimming at the Pleasant Grove Pool with all of their cousins on my side of the family except the two oldest. They had sooo much fun, since this was their first time swimming in a big pool, well for Julles it was. Beene had been in a big pool when she was 1 year old, but not since then. Here are some of the picture's that my dad emailed me, my niece Tori is going to email me the ones that she has of them from their camera.

Aunt Stacey and Julles splashing away!!!

Wahoo!!! Julles and Stace going down the slide!! (1 of the million times they went down!!) Julles would not walk up the 4 flights of stairs to go on the slide, so Stacey had to carry her the whole way. Let's just say, Stacey's legs are a little sore!! Good thing that she doesn't weigh very much!!

Katie and Jubbie-doobie

Beene jumping to Abby!!

Beene and Aunt Kristy on the waterslide... again!!!

Kristy brought life jacket's for the girls and Julles would not take it off, even though she was freezing. Stacey kept telling her that if she took it off, she could get all the way under the water, and get warm. Finally, after a long talk, she took it off... and wasn't as cold!

When I picked them up on Saturday, they were very mad at me, and wanted to stay "forever"!! But, when I finally got them in the car, I asked them about swimming and the first thing Beene told me was this: "Mommy, Tori and Grandma didn't wear their swimming suits and they peed their pants!" I called my mom and said, "So, I hear that you and Tori peed your pants at the pool!!" She said, "No... we didn't pee our pants, the girls were sooo cold, that we wrapped them in their towels and held them on our laps, and we got soaked... it looked like we had an accident!" We got the giggles really bad!! I thought that it was funny that was the most important thing she had to tell me.

Thanks to the aunties and the cousins and grandma and grandpa for making their first night away from mommy and daddy a good one. They had so much fun, they have been talking my ear off about it. I hear different versions from each child, but I am getting the drift of what happened.

Castle Creek Inn

This place is so nice!! I would totally recommend it to anyone looking for a little night away. It is tucked away in the middle of a busy part of town. It is like you are a world away!!! It has a ton of things included into the price of the room!!!

This is the dining area, that you can get lots of fun things out of. It has treats, and movies, popcorn, and drinks!! They had the yummiest 7 Layer Bars ever, and I snuck one after we got back from the concert. I was starving!!! They had all the pop you could drink in a little fridge, they had sparkling cider and lemonade, and other yummy snacks!! In the morning, you can sit in here and have a great breakfast... we opted to go out to breakfast, but the food looked fabulous!!! There was a patio that you could eat on as well, with beautiful plants crawling the walls!!
We scored in the room area!! It wasn't a huge room, but it was very nice and cozy!! We stayed in the Romeo and Juliet room. It had a huge tub, beautiful bedding (that you didn't even want to sit on!!), we even had a great view!!!

Our view from our balcony!! There were beautiful waterfalls, with flowers all over. There was a swing, and a cabana, I am sure you could have a wedding down there. We walked through here before we left Saturday morning!!! It was very nice, and smelled wonderful!!

This is what the castle looked like when we drove in from the concert!!! This is what it looks like at 1 in the morning!!

I am so thankful for my sweety who surprised me with this fun weekend. The pictures from the rest of the weekend, will come shortly!!! But, this is me and my sweety on our fun trip!!!
A great start to a great weekend full of fun, great music, and being together without kids!!!

Concert Weekend Info to come!!!

Hey, I am still recovering from our fabulous weekend away. I have to get the pictures from the concert downloaded from Jonathan's phone, and that probably won't be until tonight!!! But, we had a great time, and we have lots of fun pic's and video's to share!!! So stay tuned!!! I will also have pic's from the girls slumber party with the cousins. They had so much fun and I am so glad that they were able to see everyone!!!

Me + Watermelon = Disaster!!!

HELP.....
Why is it that I cannot pick a good watermelon?? I love it, it is a total summer food for me, and I have purchased like 5 this summer so far, and had 2 good ones!!! If I could buy one that looked like this one in the picture... I would be in heaven!!
Julles loves watermelon and could eat it and eat it, and the one I bought just recently, she spit it out and told me it was YUCKY!!! It tasted like water!
If you have any watermelon picking out tips, I am open for your help!! I know a girl that picks a good one everytime, and she told me some, and I have gotten it right only 2 times!!!

Grammy panties...

Our little Julles has decided that she wants to be potty trained!!! Hooray! She has been doing really well, not having accidents except one or two. So, I bought her some panties of her very own, since she has been wearing Beenies. I got her some Little Mermaid ones and then just some fruit of the loom ones from wal-mart. She was so excited when we got home from getting them, that she insisted on wearing them asap. I usually wash them first, but she really wanted to be big, and wear some. So, she picked out a pair of the fotl ones and we put them on. WOW, they are really high waisted. I told her how cute she looked in them, and how big she looked in her "granny panties". I told her to go and show daddy, and she went in and said, "daddy, look at my cute grammy panties!!" We got a good laugh at that, and then she went in to show Beenie, and said, "Beene, look at my grammy panties!!" Now, she is conviced that her panties are called "grammy panties"! She asks for them by name everytime she wants to put them on.

I compared them to Beene's panties, and they are significantly higher in the waist. But, she looks so big, and so cute in them. She walks with her little bum waving in the wind, and doesn't like to wear pants with them. We are lucky if she will wear a shirt with them. I wanted to take a picture of her in them, and post it on here... but I think that is a little unappropriate! But, you can imagine, how cute she is!!!

My budding Pixar artist...

After I posted the last post about Beene's halloween requests... I went out back to check on her, she was out drawing on the porch with chalk. She showed me all her drawings, and these were my favorite. She has really been into Monsters Inc. if you can't tell by her talking about it all the time!! I love her drawings, I have collected quite a few through the 3 years of her being able to. It kills me to throw them away... but you can't keep everything... can you??? Chalk is good, because you can snap a picture, and then wash it away!! Oh the fun we have drawing on the sidewalk. I also love to see the little chalk foot prints on my tile in my kitchen.

Halloween Costume... already???

Yes, Beenie has already started talking about her halloween costume for this year!! Last year she was Sleeping Beauty and her daddy was her Prince Charming. He wore his super nice suit and held her hand as they walked from place to place. Then... when she got sooo tired and her feet hurt... he picked her up and carried her. For a while, she wanted me to be a witch, but then changed her mind. But, for Jonathan... he was Prince Charming from day 1. My beautiful Sleepin Beauty sitting on a rock, taking a load off... She looked sooo pretty!!!

Prince Charming carrying Sleeping Beauty back to the car after a long walk trick or treating downtown stores!!!

Now, fast forward to this Halloween. What has she been adimant about being for halloween this year... Celia from Monster's Inc!!! How does she go from Sleeping Beauty one year to Celia Welia this year??? I don't even know if I'm going to be able to find a costume for this!! Maybe I'll be lucky and she'll find something that she likes more... since we have 3 months to go!

Oh yeah... She wants Julles to be Mike Wizowski!! I thought Jonathan would have to be him!!! However, Julles wants to be Cinderella!!!

Can you see Julles as this???

Movie Review Monday...

So, this weekend I took on a task that only I would enjoy... watch as many chick flicks as I can. Jonathan was sick with a bad stomach on saturday and sunday. So, though I didn't get very many in, having two small girls and all, I did happen to watch two very good ones. So, this is my movie review of them. I also got to watch all the Harry Potter's on TV with the girls, and they loved them, except the bad guys!! They sat on my lap to watch those parts!!

P.S I Love You was a fabulous movie, that was recommended by all the girls on my side of the family. They all told me it was a favorite of theirs, and now I see why!! First off, Gerard Butler... he is a HOTTY!!! Combine his smokin looks with his dang nice Irish accent... you have a WINNER!! Not only is there one good looking guy, but there are TWO!! Jeffery Dean Morgan is a looker as well, and he too has an irish accent. Hillary Swank did a great job in a girly roll, I haven't seen many movies with her in it, where she was a feminine character. She melted my heart. Fo those of you who don't know the story line... oh wait... should I tell the story line??? No, I won't... But, it is a must see and one that will need a tissue box handy!! It was rated, "The best romantic comedy in a very long time" by a very reliable source. It made me want to go and kiss Jonathan and tell him how much I love him over and over!!! It also made me think about how much we sweat the small stuff. Life is an adventure and you need to just sit tight and buckle up for all the curves life throws at ya. The most important thing: Don't take your love for grantid! This is definatly one of my new fav's!!

Then we come to Definatly, Maybe. A fabulous movie that is funny, and heartfelt. Ryan Reynolds played a great role as a dad, and a good one at that. Abigail Bresllin is just an amazing little girl who is an old soul stuck in an 11 year old's body! It is a story about a little girl who asks her dad to tell her the story about how he and her mom met and fell in love. He changes the names in the story, so she doesn't know who he is talking about and she has to guess.

It made me laugh, it made me cry and it made me want to watch it a second time. Another must see!!

Celebrating our Independence... Mexican Fiesta style!!

So, for dinner yesterday with the boys, we had a super yummy food!! I thought it was funny that we didn't have a bbq, or have something "american"!! We had Picante Shredded Beef, Spanish Rice and Refried Beans.

Some of you may know that I love to use my crock pot on Sunday's because then I don't have to spend all day cooking. I am always looking for new things to make in it. Well, I have a roast that I make in the crock pot, that I must say (and I am not bragging ;)) has quite the following with lots of people. So, I had a hinkling for shredded beef taco's one day, and my roast was not going to work... it needed to be more like Cafe' Rio! So, I got my frozen roast out of the freezer and made up my own little concoction!! So, the following is my recipe for this yummy meat!!!

Jamie's Shredded Picante Beef

1 large sized roast (I like mine frozen)
1 15 oz. can diced tomatoes
1 small can diced chillies
1 24 oz. bottle Pace Picante Sauce (I use mild, but you can use whatever you'd like)
1 packet taco seasoning

The night before you are planning on serving it, place your roast in the crockpot, pour tomatoes, chillies, and Picante sauce, then sprinkle the taco seasoning over top of that. Put your lid on and set your crock pot to high. I usually start mine around 10 p.m. Then in the morning, take off lid and flip your roast over so that the flavor distibutes completely. Cook another 2 hours atleast, on low.

If you are going to use this as a taco or enchilada filling, shred it before you serve or prepare. If you are using it as a main dish, you can just put it in a dish, and let people shred their own. DO NOT SHRED in the morning, the meat will dry out!!

I wish that I had a picture of it, but it was gone before I could get my camera!! Have three starving teenage boys and two starving little girls don't leave me time to get to the photo ops!! But, it is mighty tastey and you should try it if you like Mexican food!! If you try it... let me know what you think!

Happy 4th of July!!!

Our neighborhood was not aloud to have fireworks, seeing that we are so close to the mountains and the dry grasses that go along with that!! So, we celebrated the 4th in the best "firework friendly" way that we could. I went to hobby lobby and got a bunch of these party poppers and the girls were able to do them by themselves. They had a blast and went through an entire package in like 5 minutes. There were little streamers all over my yard and it was windy, so there are probably some on someone elses yard too!! The girls had so much fun, they were screaming at the top of their lungs... HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!!! Oh how I love them!! They even had fun running around picking up the garbage!!

They have arrived...

On Thursday, our tickets came by FedEx. I am so stinkin excited, you would think that next weekend was the holiday!! The tickets are up on my fridge, so I can look at them everytime I open it. I have been listening to Journey, Heart and Cheap Trick to practice singing at the top of my lungs... (which, if you live by me... sorry if you can hear me!!)

Have I mentioned that my wonderful husband got us great seats??? Well he did! Row G (7 rows from the front) seats 9 and 10!!! Oh and we're center stage as well!!! Too bad we can't take camera's in there, I would be going picture crazy!!! Our tickets even include parking!!!

Well, I hope you all have a great, safe weekend with lots of fun, and fireworks... (we can't do fireworks up at our house... the fire chief lives just kiddy corner to us, and its against the law!!!

Beauty Tips everyone needs!!

I know everyone is always looking for some new beauty tips, so... Julles took it upon herself to share her wisdom on beauty!! The following are things she has so kindly shared with us. I would feel selfish if I just kept them to myself!

Get your "beauty sleep" in any comfy laundry basket full of clothes that need to be ironed! It always helps to keep your blanket over your face so that you don't get exposed to any of the elements.

Eye-liner and lipgloss are not meant for your eyes and lips. As she so kindly models here, eye-liner is to highlight those places on your face that you want people to see. Lipgloss is meant to go around you mouth, on your cheeks, and up your nose to give your skin a nice glow.

I hope you all enjoy these beauty tips, and as she divulges more, I will keep you all posted!!! Let me know how these work for you!

Journey - Faithfully ( The Ellen Degeneres Exclusive!)

This is how fabulous this new guy is!!! He sounds just like Steve Perry!!

If you love peanut butter and chocolate...

then you will love these... This is a favorite recipe of my little family. We could eat them up in an instant. I made some for girls night last week, and had to make more on Monday for playgroup!! They are so yummy and just a warning... they are addicting!!!

Nutty Buddies Cereal Mix

8 c. Rice Chex (or store brand)

1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips

2/3 c. peanut butter

1 to 1 1/2 c. powdered sugar

In the biggest bowl you can find (I use my huge tupperware one), pour in cereal, and set aside. In a microwave safe bowl, add the chocolate chips and the peanut butter. Microwave on high for 1 minute and then stir. Microwave in 30 second intervals until silky smooth. Pour over cereal and toss with a wooden spoon or a rubber scraper. Place powdered sugar into a big gallon size baggy and spoon cereal mixture in. Seal baggy and shake it until the cereal is coated in powdered sugar!! Spread on a sheet pan covered in parchment or wax paper, and let dry. It is best if it can dry for a day, but it is good right after it has been made as well!! Keep in a dry container with a cover. (if you can leave them alone that long!)

ENJOY!!!

My husband...

IS THE GREATEST!!! Why, you ask? He called me today and asked me out for a special night away from the kids. Next weekend, we are going to stay at Castle Inn in Salt Lake and he is taking me to see Journey, Heart, and Cheap Trick!!! Can you say.... SO EXCITED!!!

I am suffering from PERMA-GRIN tonight!!! We have tickets center stage, 7 rows up!! WOW!!! I am a huge Journey fan, and their new lead singer is FABULOUS!! He is a phillipeno guy who the lead guitarist found on YOUTUBE!! He sounds actually pretty dang close to Steve Perry!! I also LOVE Heart! Jonathan is a giant Cheap Trick fan as well, so all around a great concert for us to go to! Before we got married, I got him tickets to Styx and REO Speedwagon. The funny thing was that I was the youngest person there. Even funnier, 8 years later and Styx is having a concert here in Logan on Friday night. WIERD!!! I am so excited and can't believe my husband did such a great thing for me!!! We haven't been away for anything like this since we have had kids!!! SUCH FUN!!!
