Pumpkin Carving and Guts fun...

Last night was the long awaited Pumpkin Carving Festival at the Johnson house! We were lucky to have Jeremy join us as well. We haven't carved pumpkins with the boys since we lived in our other house! It was super fun, and the kids had a great time!

Jonathan is the master carver... I am the master cleaner outer! He cut the tops off of the kids pumpkins for me (because the big knife scares me, only when cutting pumpkins!), and I started cleaning them out. He helped the girls figure out what shapes they wanted on thier faces, and then started carving away! Here are some photo's I was able to get...

Jonathan the master carver, carves with much precision, and skill! They turned out beautiful, as always!!
Beene and Julles had more fun playing with the "guts" than anything! They were burying the cut-outs in their goop and then acting surprised when they would find what they had burried! At first, Julles wouldn't have anything to do with it, then she thought she would try... and she was covered in it by the end! Beene, stayed clean... but the floor would have to disagree.

Jeremy, who is getting into politics at the time, wanted to put "Vote Nader" on his, but he opted for something much easier, since his cleaning process took WAY longer than he had imagined!! We had lots of fun having him here with us!

The kids finished products! L-R: Julles, Beene, and Jeremy!

Even Rick got in on the fun of the evening!! He said he hasn't carved a pumpkin in years... welcome to life with children in a home!!!

This is Ricks pumpkin. We all decided it looks like a Jack Skelington jack-o-lantern!
We had a great time! The kids had fun, our house smelled of pumpkins, and we had lots of laughs! The girls had to go out as soon as they woke up this morning to see if their pumpkins were ok! Cute kids!

Dress-up diva's and other fun...

So, the girls have been asking me and asking me when they get to put on thier Hannah Montana costumes. They always take it really well when I tell them, "not today!". So, today I gave in and we played dress-up for a bit. Needless to say, the girls did not like the wigs so much, they only kept them on long enough for me to get them situated on their heads. However, they LOVED the dresses, and the outfits for the under's! Here are a few of their photo shots that I got of them, and I'll try to post a video of my little diva's as well!!

Our little diva's!! They were singing at the top of thier lungs! Aren't they the cutest HM's ever??

Julles and her "punkin", she chose one of the bigguns!!

Beene and her "punkin" that she picked out all by herself, carried it to the car and all!! Her's is the smallest of the bunch, but still good sized!!!

My cute little chica's!!! I love them to pieces!!! Do you blame me???

This is Beene's rendition of "Best of Both Worlds", the venue is our front walk way, where she has given many a performances!!

This is Julles version of "Best of Both Worlds", also at the same venue... but you'll notice her routine is a tad different, she gets a little side-tracked!!

A boy and his car...

Jeremy sporting his COCA-COLA shades holding his bottled COKE and standing in front of his new ride!!

Well, in the last month a lot has happened for our Jeremy! He is now an eagle scout, and got his license, but most recently he has gotten himself a old/new car!

Jenny decided that she would help him get a car, if he could find one for a good price. So, after deciding against a little truck with a plow on it, and a little convertable sports car, he decided on his 86' volvo.

It is a pretty cool car. It has heated seats, automatic locks and I think automatic windows!! Not bad for an 86!

I remember once he said to me: "I am not going to drive a lot when I get a car... gas is too expensive, I'll ride the bus!!" So, I asked him on Sunday if he'd been driving a lot since he got his car, and he said, "oh yeah!!" So, now he just needs a job (which he is looking for) to pay for this gas!

Daddy daughter photo's!

Yesterday, Jonathan and I decided that we didn't have enough photo's of him, so we broke out the camera and started snapping away. The next thing I know, Beene has changed her clothes into a skirt and is telling me that she wants her picture taken with her daddy! Then, because Julles doesn't like to be left out, she wanted on as well. These are what we came up with:

Field Trip Friday Funnies!!

Today was the last day of The Joy of the Earth unit for the girls preschool. We had a field trip that Gina planned over a month ago to go to the USU Anthropology Museum. So, we got all the kids in the car's and headed out to make our 10:00 appointment. Well, for those of you who live in Logan, the Old Main building (which is absolutly gorgeous!) doesn't have the best free parking spots! So, we drove around for a bit, and found two spots in front of someones home. We figured it would be ok, since we were just going to be gone for a short time. It was a cold morning, and we had to walk uphill for a couple of blocks, then we got into "Rocky Balboa" mode and walked up probably 300 or so stairs! The 6 preschoolers did ok, Gina and I though thought we were going to die... that was hard!

Then, we got to the museum, and the girl who had scheduled it was out for the week, and didn't leave it to anyone else. To top it off, they were having a HUGE dean's meeting there 10 minutes later after we got there. So, this nice girl, who felt bad for us, showed the kids all about the indians, and what they would eat and such. She offered the kids some tastey sour cream n' onion flavored crickets as well as some mexican fiesta flavored mill worms. Luckily, the kids thought that would be really gross. Isaac was worried that eating the crickets would hurt them. He felt better about it when she told them they were dead! They got to grind some corn into flour, and look at some really neat things. Even though we didn't get the tour we were assured, the kids had a great time, and got some fun explorer hats. Then, we took some pictures of the kids with the fall leaves and things. Miss Lisa had to leave, and her little girl Ellie did not like that, so she screamed and screamed. It was time to go back down the stairs and the boys went running down the grass hill that is next to the stairs, and I got to carry Ellie down in my arms, because she wanted to run after her mom! Wow, that was a workout, I think I am fully covered in the exercise department for the week. We saw lots of "earth" items. They played in leaves on the way to the car and collected some chestnuts. They thought that was great!

We got to the cars, got everyone buckled... after a potty stop at a local tree for a little boy who could not hold it in. We were getting in to drive away and we noticed that we each had a lovely PARKING TICKET on our windshields!! That is right, this little "field trip" cost us each $15. Apparently on this particular street, you have to have a "residential parking pass" to park on the street. We weren't aware of any signs because we were busy trying to contain 6 preschoolers! So, the day didn't turn out as great as we had hoped! More happened in the first 3 hours of my day than has happend all week. The good news is that Gina called and told them what happend and the guy actually felt bad for us. He told us what to say to appeal the ticket. So, that hopefully will turn out in our favor! Wish us luck!! USU needs to do what BYU does, and add some huge parking lots that don't cost money, for the museums and things!

I also left my camera in my car, and am bummed that I didn't get any pictures to show, but Gina took some, and maybe I'll have her email me some so I can post them. The kids had great smiles in them today! The kids brought lots of fun things home from Miss Gina's. They made grass heads with nylons and grass seed, and they sprouted beans that have grown into plants, and a great book of colors! I will take pictures of the grass heads, because they are sooo cute and you all need to see them.

Happy Friday!

Lovin' the list and thanks!

Ok, so I am lovin the new bloglists! I just made my "favorites" folder so much smaller!! I think I got rid of probably 20 or so blog's that I can just look at from my blog now! Why didn't I think of that before?? That just made my "blog time" a lot less time consuming!!

Also, a big thanks to Katie for getting everybodies tickets to Twilight before they were all out!! We are having a neighborhood girls night out on opening night! WAHOO!!!

Fun Halloween Lunch!

The girls and I LOVE Halloween! We love all the yummy treats, the cool air, and of course thinking of new ways to have lunch!! I got this cute Pillsbury booklet (one of the ones from the check-out line) that is filled with lots of fun Halloween foods! So, we tried one out!! We had Mummy's for lunch the other day! They are hotdogs, or little sausages with cresent rolls (the new kind that is just one huge sheet of dough) cut into skinny strips and wrapped around them. My girls love hotdogs and this was a great new twist on them!

Beenies little mummy with mustard eyeballs, and mustard for dipping!! (i've never met a kid who likes mustard like she does!!) She also needed a little whitchy hat too!!! I had extra dough, so I rolled it up and cut them into pieces, this one turned out like a whitchy hat!!

Julles, on the other hand... doesn't like any type of bread on her hot dogs, she will only eat them plain, so this is what she had with some ketchup on the side!! Funny... huh?!

Tradition... Tradition!!! (singing from Fiddler on the Roof)

Come on, you know that song is going to be stuck in your head forever now!! You're welcome!

Last year around Halloween, we started fun traditions with the girls. We have traditions with the boys, but we only do those right before, and on Halloween. So, we started with decorating cookies with our friends Keri and Kenadee. Well today... we had our 2nd Halloween Cookie Palooza with the Mumm girls. Last year, Keri and I learned our lesson about cookie making with the littles... have the cookies ready to frost when they get here. That way, we don't have to wait for them to cook and cool, and last year we lost the kids attention span way to fast!! They would maybe get 2 cookies done. Well this year, I had the cookies ready to go, and Keri brought her yummy frosting colored and ready to frost. So, we gave the girls each their own little cup of each color of frosting,(except the black, cause none of the kids would use it!) because they LICK the knife, and that makes us all a little queasy!! We also gave them little cups of sprinkles, that way we don't go through one whole bottle of sprinkles on one cookie!! (Julles did that last year, 2 times) The kids actually kept their attention on the cookies for 5 cookies!! That is pretty good!! That left a whole lot for Keri and I to do, but it was fun... we got to chat while the kids played.

Julles yummy cookies that she made. She made them into Halloween mosaics with her sprinke job! MMMM!! She even had a little bite of one along the way!! She needed help with spreading her frosting, but all in all she did great, and she had a ton of fun!!!
Beene did a great job this year, she was way more into it than last year! She still would not even think of using the black frosting, so her cat is orange and is decked out in some fabulous colored sprinkles!! She has been looking forward to this day for the last two weeks... it has passed now, and so on to the anticipation of the new Tinkerbell movie!!
These are what was supposed to be my HALF of the cookies that Keri and I frosted, but somehow, she didn't take her HALF, and left a bunch for me!!! Looks like my neighbors are going to be getting a snack tonight!!
They turned out really fun!! I can't wait for Christmas Cookie Palooza!! Thanks Keri and Kenadee for coming over... we had a blast!

Hello my name is Jamie...

... and I am a Twilight addict. I have now read books 1-3 and midnight sun two times each! I heard about Midnight Sun, and decided that I would not read it due to the fact that it is unfinished. However, I could not resist... my "edward loving" side of my brain (the one that knows he doesn't really exist, but really likes the thought of him) won out!! After reading 12 chapters online from my computer screen, I couldn't just stop there, I had to finish the story in the first book. Well, anyone who has read these books, will know that you can't just read the one... you have to read them all! Well, fast forward 4 days, and I am waiting for Keri to finish my 4th book so that I can start it.

I think I have a problem, because I dream about it constantly! Jonathan feels neglected. The girls are even starting to ask about vampires! My friend Emily emailed me the new movie trailer and I watch it multiple times a day! This movie couldn't come out sooner than.... NOW!!! I hope I am not disappointed!! I have built this up in my head to be something amazing and fabulous. (I AM A GEEK, I KNOW!!!)

Someone help me, I need a sponsor or something!!

Christmas Card Extravaganza coming up again...

YEAH!!! I just got the emails from Amy for our next girls night out. It is our second annual Christmas Card Extravaganza and it is on November 12. I am so excited, but I can't pick which card I want to make, this year she is giving us 4 to choose from. Decisions, decisions!!!

This kit is made with Stampin' Up designer paper. Each sheet is double sided so that you can pick what cute side you want showing.

This one is a favorite of mine! It is a "pull-out" card. I love how cute they are, and how fun they would be to make. You get to color your letters in, and I love to color!!!

This one is the "Snowflake Window" card. It is super cute, and looks fun to make. I think this one might be the least complicated one to do.

Now, this is one of my serious fav's. It is such a classic looking card, and I think it is just beautiful! The tree is embossed, how pretty is that going to be??

Thanks to Amy and all her fabulous creative ladies who think up of all these fabulous cards. I don't know what I would do without them... oh wait, I wouldn't create anything... i am a total copier!!

I sent out a mass e-mail to those of you in my "gno group" and I hope you got the info. If not, and you would like the info emailed again, let me know!! For those of you who are not in our "gno group", and you would like to venture to Providence for an evening of great girl fun, let me know and I will get you the info asap! I have to have the final count to Amy by Sunday, October 26. I am way excited about this fun night ahead of us!!!

The morning dramatics of a 4 year old...

This is just a quick post to let you know how dramatic my four year old is!! This morning, the kids had just eaten breakfast, and brought me a movie to watch before they get ready for school. They fight a lot about what movie they watch, and who's turn it is to pick. Well, Jonathan came up with a great idea a while back to help with that situation! One picks the movie and the other picks the snack. Back to this morning... Julles picked the movie and so Beene said, "I get to pick the snack!" I told them they didn't need a snack seeing that they just finished breakfast. I told them, they could have a snack after school. Then the following conversation happened..

Beene: Do we have to go to school today?

Me: Yep, and you are going to have a fun time!

Beene: Is it to cold to wear a skirt?

Me: Yes baby, you need to wear jeans today.

Beene: Jeans??? I want my new black pants!!

Me: They are dirty, and I am going to wash them today. You can wear them tomorrow!

Beene: (Angrily throwing her arms to her sides) But mom, it has been 10 hours... I want my black pants!! (and then dramatically runs with her arms behind her, into her bedroom!)

Oh how awful life is when your favorite pair of pants are dirty!!

A big blogger welcome to...

my friend Keri. Keri has now joined the addicting world of blogging, after being in blogger jail(I guess now if you start a blog, but don't post asap, they put your account under investigation for a few days)!! Keri lives a few houses down from me, and we have become good friends in the two years I have been here. Our girls are best friends too!!! She is the neighborhood stylist as well!!

(Kennadee, Miss Keri, and Mike Mumm)

So, now you can know who I talk about when I mention Miss Keri!! You can check out her blog, and get to know her and her cute family!! She also has a salon cookbook blog, if you'd like to check that out, it has some great recipes on it.

Holy long day batman...

My day started at 3:30 this morning, when Julles decided that she couldn't sleep in her bed, and had to sandwich me in between her and Jonathan. (which is a nightly occurance and I can't figure out what to do differently to change it!) Jonathan was having an extremely deep sleep and was snoring, and I couldn't get him to move over! You would think that having a KING sized bed, I would'nt have to fight for room, but he ends up on my pillow every night. Then, when I thought Julles was asleep, I scooped her up and put her back in her bed! 10 minutes later, and a few thousand points scored in Book Worm, Julles came running back in! So, I got her back to sleep, and moved, and played some more of my game. I finally started to get sleepy again, put my game away and snuggled into my covers and Beene came running in needing me to "hold" her. So once again, I was sandwiched between her and hearing her jabber and Jonathan who now was snacking on dum-dum suckers right in my ear. (he eats while he sleeps on a nightly basis!!) I took her back to her bed and sat there with her until she went back to sleep. Then, back to my bed and book worm game... and then I just couldn't sleep. So, now it is 6 and I give up trying and move to the couch. It was freezing this morning... literally!! The radio station that we listen to through the night does a weather check on the 6's, and they said that at 4:00 this morning, it was 28 degrees. I snuggled into my pillow and got a nice warm blanket and turned on "Wedding Story" on TLC hoping to fall asleep to it!! NO LUCK!!! Finally at about 7, Beene woke up with a terrifying scream and I went to lay down with her in her bed and fell asleep!! When I was asleep, I was having a dream... and in that dream, my alarm was going off and I couldn't get it to stop no matter what I did... even unplugging it didn't work!! That is when I realized that it wasn't my dream, in fact my alarm really was going off to wake up Jonathan! (wow that was long winded!)

I wanted to go back to sleep, but alas I could not, I had two kids to wake up and get them ready for school!! I got them up and ready and fed, and to school on time! Then, I realized that I had no shampoo at home to take a shower with... so to Macey's I went in my bed head hair that had been pulled into a ponytail! I got home just in time to eat lunch and take a shower and go to pick up the kids at 1:00. We had to be at Keri's salon by 1:30 for the girls to get their hair cut, and we made it just in the nick of time!! The girls haircut's were over by 2:30, and we went to run errands. We were shop-a-holics today. Time to get warm clothes for the girls and new shoes for Beene who's feet decided to out-grow all her cute shoes from last year!! (everyone else and their dog had the same idea I did!!)

Finally, after about 6 stores, stopping to eat for an hour, and a potty stop at every place we went, we made it home at 6:30!! Time to make dinner and clean up the house... now it is 10:00, and I can take a moment to look back at this super duper long day and look forward to a nice peaceful (hopefully) sleep!! Oh by the by... it only got up to 44 degrees today!! We are supposed to get snow tomorrow and sunday!! Lucky us!! I like to say we live in the klondike!!!

Sorry if I bored you to death, but I had to get it out... and it was quite entertaining to write!! (atleast I can say that now!)

WHY???

This is a question that I have become very familiar with the past few days!!! Beene is constantly asking "why?" for everything I say to her.

My question to you... how do I get out of the "why?" questions... how do I get her onto something else, or to accept the answer that I give her? I've tried asking her why back, but she doesn't enjoy being asked that... I WONDER WHY???

HELP ME!!!!

Monday in the Mountains...

Today, in school the kids started "The Joy of the Earth" unit. What a fabulous time of year to be learning about this wonderful place we live in!! For our first day, Miss Gena had planned a field trip to Stokes Nature Center, which is right at the mouth of Logan Canyon. I never had been to this place, and I am so glad that I went to help. I learned a ton, and plan to go there next year with the our new group!!

When we got there, we parked at the start of a trail, and walked into the actual center. It was a great nature walk, where the kids were able to see trees, leaves changing color, and the beautiful Logan River rushing past the trail! We were very specific to the kids about the rules that they must follow while walking to the Nature Center. One of the rules was to walk in the middle of the trail, or on the mountain side... the left side of the trail is a really huge drop off to the river! Last year, there were 4 of the mom's that went... and it was scary to watch the kids get so close to the "drop off" side. So, that was a must have rule. After I told them the rules, I asked them to tell them back to me... Isaac said, "No falling off the cliff!" I guess if that is how he heard it, that works for me!! Anyway... the walk was crisp and soggy from the rain we have had the past two days, but smelled of fall... and that was worth the cold!!

This place was amazing, and kept the kids attention the whole time. Our guide was named Isaac as well, and so we called him "Big Isaac", that way the kids wouldn't get confused. He read them stories, told them about how the animals use thier senses, showed them some animal skins, let them hold a snake, and taught them about texture rubbing!! It was an action packed day, and we made it back to Miss Gena's just in time for lunch and to go home. Here are a few pictures of our fun day!!

Some of the gorgeous fall leaves that we saw and smelled!! The rain the day before made the fall smells much more "there"!!

The kids on the trail all decked out in their jackets and "view finders", they played "I spy" on the walk in!

The kids getting thier pictures to help Big Isaac tell a story about a Salemandor! They loved listening for the words of the pictures that they were holding... when they heard them, they would run up and put thier picture on a flannel board.

They had some animal fur's out for the kids to see and feel. They had a deer pelt and a wolf. I was amazed at how soft they were!! Did you know... Deer hair is hollow and that is how they stay warm in the winter??

The wolf head that the kids totally were mezmorized by!! They were sticking thier hands in its mouth, feeling its teeth and petting it the whole time. They thought the deer was ok, but the wolf was on all of thier top 3 lists!!

The snake: Can I just say how shocked and amazed I was that MY kids were wanting to hold it!! Julles was the first to hold him, but I didn't get a good picture of her with it!! It was just a little garter snake named Wylee... but I thought my kids would run for the hills when he got him out!!

The kids with Big Isaac getting ready to go!! We had such a great time!!! It was awsome!

Ok, this is my "mature" side talking... Don't you want a pillow like this on your couch or chair?? This is a pillow that reads: "Mammal Scat of North America" and then it has pictures of different animals poop on it!! Just in case you found some on your yard, and needed to know what animal it belongs to!! Are you ready for more "mature" talk?? They had a game to play, "Do you know your scat?", with petrified poop in cups with lids on them, and you are to match up the poop with an animal picture. Don't worry... they have a cheat sheet in case your "scat" knowledge isn't up to par!! There was some poop on the trail on the way in, and I couldn't find it on the pillow... we decided that it was "house dog" droppings!! Ok... I am done being "mature"!!

"Sweet" field trip friday...

On friday last week, we went on a field trip to the Bakery at Macey's for the last day of the "Obedience and Decisions" unit. The kids got to meet Grandpa Lynn, who is the head baker there. He gave them a little tour of the bakery and taught them about following rules to make the food turn out and to make the employees safe. It was such a great, short little trip. He then told them they got to choose between a cookie or a donut for a treat!! There in front of us were trays and trays of fresh cookies and warm gooey glazed donuts!! He even let the kids get their own off the trays... we thought he was crazy, but it worked out well. Here are a few pics of the fun time. The kids learned a lot, and had a blast!!
The yummy treats that we were getting to try!!
Miss Lisa talking with Grandpa Lynn while the kids ate thier donuts!!
Beene with her "sugar" donut... that she liked very best because it was still warm!
Julles with her yummy donut as well... who would choose a cookie when you could get one of these tastey treats??
The Joy School kids out in front of the store!! What a fun time we had!!

Sunday with the Boys...

Is always a treat!! It is very rare to find them all in one place doing the same thing. Usually, they eat and then go thier seperate ways. However, yesterday after I cleaned up from dinner... this is what I found on the couch....

They all three have a love for movies, and laptops... so put those two things together, and you get the three brother's watching movie previews on Jason's laptop!! Of course, I took this while they were intensly watching, and when the flash went off, Jason got mad at me because he didn't know how he looked. Such a teenager!!

It is always the best when sunday rolls around every week, that is the day that our whole family is together, even if it is for just a few hours, they are the most treasured hours of the week!!

Quirk #1: I check my email and friends blogs about 3 times a day... I don't know, maybe I don't want to miss out on any little thing that happens. Jonathan says it is an addicition, and i think maybe he is right!

Quirk #2: I have to sleep with a the radio on... when I was a teenager, I had to go to sleep with the radio, but it was music... now that I am married to Jonathan we listen to talk radio, and he would be fine to sleep without it, and I always ask him to turn it on. I guess it is because our house makes noises in the night, and this way... I don't have to hear them.

Quirk #3: I really like to grocery shop... it is my zen time!! When Jonathan and I were dating, and I would call him after work (at like 10 p.m), and while I was on the phone with him... I would go home, change my clothes and then go to the store... I would walk up and down each aisle, and then leave... I don't have to buy anything, I just like to be there! Wierd, I KNOW!!!

Quirk #4: I have to put my jammies back on after I take a shower, I can't put my clothes for the day on... I still haven't figured out why... I just can't!!

Quirk #5: I get my lesson plans for school done months in advance. I don't teach until december, and I am almost done with them. I guess I am OCD, and have to have them perfectly planned or something.

Quirk #6: I don't like anyone else to load my dishwasher... there are specific places for each thing, and no one but me does it the right way!! And as much as I would love someone to unload the dishwasher for me... like Jonathan... but things never get put back where they are supposed to go!!

Wow, this made me realize that I am a tad OCD... thanks Katie, that was fun!

I TAG.... anyone who hasn't done this yet... I think all the blogs that I read have done it!! For those of you who haven't, Have fun!

The answer to a cold day...

So, yesterday was a rainy, dark day. It was a day that I didn't want to do much but veg out in my jammies and eat lots of food. This morning, it is freezing, and I was tempted to turn on the heat! As I was getting ready to make breakfast for Jonathan and the girls, I remembered a great gift that my sister Stacey gave me for Christmas last year.

Let me introduce to you, for those of you who have not ever seen or used this fabulous device... THE COCOA LATTE'!!! It is fabulous because it makes your hot drink, not too hot... just perfect! You put in your water or milk, then your mix or other ingredients, put on the lid, turn it on and wait. You then hear it mixing and mixing whirling that mixture around as it is HEATING it. Then it stops whirling and it is at just the right temperature. Then you hit the froth button and open the spout and it pours you a hot frothy cup of cocoa!! Top it with marshmellow's and you are going to be cozy warm. This is a great thing for the girls, because they want hot chocolate all the time, and using this makes it awesome and just the right temperature that they won't get burned! I also love it because you can make more than a cup at a time. My sister makes something yummy with milk and brown sugar... I haven't tried it, but I hear it is to die for.

So, here is a public thank you to Stacey for this great little cozy maker!! It helped us hugely this morning as we were shiverring and getting under lots of blankies!! For those of you who have one, use it this fall and winter... for those of you who don't have one, GET ONE!!!

Halloween's of the Past...(4 years that is)

Here are some pics of the past 4 halloweens!! I have been going through our family pictures a lot lately, and these are some of my favorite from this time of year!!

Beene' first Halloween!! We sent these cute pictures out to family. She didn't go trick-or-treating this particular year, but she was stinkin cute anyhow!!

Beene was a bunny for her second year... she loved this costume, but not the fact that it covered her hands. That drove her nutso's! This was also the year we discovered that you can go trick-or-treating at the downtown businesses... all day!! You go in and out of the different stores, and they give the kids candy and toys! Then, we don't have to do the night time stuff, cause it gets really cold here on Halloween... somtimes even snow!! A tradition was born!

Julles first Halloween! She was so cute in this costume, she was getting chubby and was all cheeks!! She SCORED in the candy department even though she was asleep in the stroller the whole time! Candy for mom and dad, I guess!! (and brother's!)

This is halloween 2006!! Are you noticing the trend of Julles wearing the same costume that Beene wore the year before?? Well, she unlike Beene loved the fact that her hands were covered!! She was freezing cold! Beene actually went around the neighborhood this year, and I was an ice cube, but she would not stop... she was the energizer care bear! We got home, and then it hit her that she was frozen!! (Notice.... Julles had a shiner on her little eye this year... she and Beene got into a brawl, and Julles won!)

Finally, the princess sisters!! This was last year... Beene as Sleeping Beauty and Julles as Snow White! Julles was going to be the Care Bear, however... she would not keep the head on, and hated how it felt on her... so it was a quick change to Snow White!

Soon, I will have pictures of a Hannah Doubletake!! I am getting really excited for Halloween, and the girls keep asking me for a count down!! Maybe we will make a paper chain... hmm that's a good idea, I think I'll do that!!
