BRRRRRRR.....

Can you say FREEZING??? Well, that is what it is here in Providence, UT. It is so cold, it is the bitter cold that you can feel down to your bones. It is the cold that makes you run like mad to get in the car and get mad at the kids for wanting to do their carseats by themselves. It is the kind of cold that makes you hands hurt for a long while after getting out of the cold. When I was passing a bank at the beginning of Providence the temp said 1 degree. My mouth dropped, because it felt that cold. Well, I live on the bench and it is always much colder here. It has to be 0 or in the -'s. This morning in Logan at 8:00 it was 13 below. This is just too cold.

My neighbor and I were talking on sunday, because that is the only day that we dare venture out of the house... anyway... we were talking about that winter is a stupid time of year because the only time the girls get to play together with friends is when you schedule something, unlike fall, spring, and summer when we just meet at the park behind my house. What a bummer! I feel like I need to wear long thermal underwear under my jeans and sweatshirts and coats!

Anyway... that was my cold rant for today! My mom said it was 24 down in Orem and I am jealous about that!

Stay warm and drink lots of Hot Chocolate!! (that is 0 points on Weight Watchers right???)

Love ya all!

Makes my heart sad!!!

Today was a tramatic day for my little Julles. Beene had a playdate set up for 12:30. She had been so excited for it and couldn't wait. My friend called me and told me they were ready for her and so I took her over. Julles was excited too because she thought she was going to play as well. Well, I took Beene to the door and came back to the car. Julles was yelling, "come get me too!" I got in the car and started to back out of the driveway. She burst out into tears and cried the whole way home. It was so sad. She wanted to go and play with Beene and her friend so badly. She has been ok for about 15 minutes now, and that is good. I gave her chocolate milk and a cookie, and put in a Pooh Movie for her. So far so good. However... she does keep asking about Beene and when she'll be home. They are so close in age that it is hard for them to do things apart from one another. When Julles was in the car and crying she said, "But mom, Beene woves me and I need her!" Ohh... that just tugs at the heart strings a little. Ho-Hum!!

10 years ago: I was 17 and a senior in high school. I was not loving school at the time, it was more of a social thing than an eduactional thing. I was looking forward to moving out of my house and couldn't wait until my eighteenth birthday. Valentines day was coming and it was my first v-day without a boyfriend and that made me depressed. Oh am I glad I am married now and don't have to worry about that!

5 things on my to-do list today:
1. Take Beene to school/pick up from school
2. Go to Dr's appointment
3. Clean house
4. Do laundry
5. Make Dinner

What I would do if I were suddenly made a billionaire: I would pay off my house, and buy me a car big enough to lug around my family of 7, and get Jonathan a new car for his 2 hour drive to work everyday. I would also put some aside and save it.

3 of my bad habits:
1. Checking my e-mail way too much. ( I have to agree with you Tiff!)
2. Letting the ironing go for weeks at a time.
3. Biting my nails

5 places I have lived:
1. Orem (at mom and dad's)
2. Orem (at Kim's house)
3. Logan
4. Providence (on center street)
5. Providence (my home now!)
Sorry... that wasn't very exciting!

5 jobs that I have had:
1. Orange Julius
2. Utah County Accessor's office/Treasurer's office
3. Journey's Shoes
4. Foot Locker
5. Franklin Covey/Legacy Learning

5 Things people don't know about me:
1. My husband and I have a 14 year difference between us.
2. I wanted to be a beautician when I was in High School
3. I have really sensitive skin, anything strong in smell, can make me break out!
4. I had jondous and menengitus when I was a baby!
5. I have ADD

Ok, I tag...
1. Chelsie
2. Bethany
3. Kristy

Bibity Bobbity Boo!

The girls are really into magic wands lately. For Christmas, they each got a couple. Before that, anything long enough to be a magic wand, would be a wand. They run around the house yelling at the top of thier lungs as they make the actions, "Bibity Bobbity Boo Hoo!" They love Cinderella and obviously have watched it a lot, and that is one of the major things that they have picked up. This picture is of them Bibity Bobbity Boo Hooing thier dad while I was taking video! I just thought it was cute. These are thier jammies that they got to open on Christmas Eve and they came with magic star wands. They were as pleased as punch.

Fashion Diva's

Beene and Julles both got Ballerina Dress-up trunks for Christmas. In it had three different outfits and a headband and a crown and a magic flower wand. Not more than five minutes after being awake and seeing this wonderful trunk full of loot from Santa, they had changed their clothes! Well, Beene wears this purple ballerina skirt EVERYDAY! She is always wearing that and the purple headband that matches the skirt. Well, she found her sunglasses yesterday and was very excited, and she went to go and get in the bathtub last night and she came into the bathroom and she was decked out in full fashion ballerina diva wear. She got in the bathtub and Julles came running in while I was giving Beene her bath and she was in her form of fashion diva wear. She could live in her diaper all day everyday if I let her. The picture of her is without her pink snow boots that I had just taken off of her. She had been wearing her diaper and her snow boots all night, and I took them off of her to get her ready for bed. Anyway... if you'll notice in the photo's that the sunglasses are on upside down on both of them, that is how they wear the sunglasses anytime they put them on.

What fun girls they are. I love them to pieces and could just eat them up with thier cuteness!

Lego's aren't supposed to go there!!!

My sweet baby Julles came into our bedroom screaming bloody murder the other day. It was her "something is really wrong" cry. I ran to her to see what was wrong with her and she couldn't talk to me to tell me what was going on. She was sniffling a lot and was holding her nose. I noticed she had a little pile of lego's in her hand. I all of the sudden realized that she had either swallowed some and they were stuck in her throat or she had stuffed one in her nose. I asked her, "Sweety, do you have Lego's in your nose?" She started crying harder and said with a very sad voice, "yyyeeesss!!!" So, we dropped her to the floor and I handed Jonathan the tweezer's and he had to preform surgery on her poor little nose. He found a little white round Lego. She laughed a little because I am sure that it tickled a tad. She started laughing and said "thank you daddy!" That was a relief. We didn't want her to think she was in trouble for doing such a silly thing, so we were laughing about it and giving her hugs and kisses. She came and sat on my lap and we were all talking, when she started sniffeling again and then she started sneezing. She layed down on me and I looked down and the light hit her nose just right. There was ANOTHER one in her nose. This time, she didn't laugh, she cried and cried. Jonathan was worried he wasn't going to be able to get it out because it was so far up there. But, after contorting her notlril this way and that, we were able to get it out.

Jonathan is a huge lego fan, we have a huge collection. He has been collecting them since he was little. Anyway... the funniest thing about this whole situation is that I was ready to throw the lego's away and Jonathan said, "We don't throw away lego's!" Gross, he wants to keep the snot covered ones, he said to just wash them off and put them away! Boys will be boys!

Her nose is fine now, and anytime you ask her if she has Lego's up her nose, she put's her hands up like she is saying, "I don't know" and says..."No more wego's my nose!" Atleast we can all laugh about it now!

Is it Valentine's Day yet???

Beene is into Valentine's Day a lot this year. Ever since Halloween, she has been asking when it will be here. She really wants me to decorate with hearts, pink, red and white. I don't know why she is so into it. We haven't done anything special for it with her ever before, but she is building it up to be this huge holiday. I hope we don't disappoint her.

There is never a dull moment from my sweet Beene baby!
